The Kamakhya temple that is situated in Guwahati at Nilachal hills is one of the best Durga temples of the country that celebrates the festival with much pomp and joy and in a grand manner.

How to reach Kamakhya temple:To reach this temple, you can take buses that are available from Guwahati and also Dispur. These buses will take you directly to the temple since it is a very popular temple.
The nearest railway station is the Kamakhya Railway junction and it is also the second biggest railway station and hence the trains are regular and pretty frequent. And for flight the nearest airport is the Gopinath Bordoli Airport which is located at 14 km from the main city. Delhi and Kolkata regularly has flights that go to Dispur.
